Atopic Dermatitis Exacerbations Seen in Premenstrual Period

Women with atopic dermatitis (AD) have disease exacerbations in the premenstrual period. Among 169 women (aged 18 to 45 years) with AD or psoriasis, women with moderate-to-severe AD had significant worsening of disease severity, itch, and quality of life in the premenstrual vs. menstrual period.
