Cancer Pain Tied to Increased Financial Burden, Adverse Employment

Pain incidence following cancer treatment is associated with employment struggles and greater financial burden. In a study of 1,213 cancer survivors, report of any pain level correlated with adverse employment and economic outcomes. Greater pain levels were associated with worse outcomes.
