Cervical Cancer Screening Still Overused in U.S. Women Older Than 65

More than 1.3 million women older than 65 years received cervical cancer screening-related services in 2019. Annual rates of cytology and/or human papillomavirus testing, colposcopy, and cervical procedures decreased by 55.3%, 43.2%, and 64.4%, respectively, since 1999 but may still be overused.
