Small Cell Lung Cancer Rheumatoid Arthritis Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

Small Cell Lung Cancer
This research study is for people with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) that is no longer responding to treatment. Candidates with a diagnosis of resistant or refractory small cell lung cancer who have had only one prior chemotherapy regimen (either cisplatin or carboplatin) may qualify. The research site is in Columbia, Mo.
This is a clinical research study of an investigational treatment for active rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Candidates must be 18 or older with a diagnosis of RA for at least six months and must have at least six tender and six swollen joints. Participants receive study-related care at no charge, including physical examinations, evaluations, laboratory tests, and ECGs. The research sites are in New York City and Tampa, Fla.
Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
This study will evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational drug to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). People 18 or older with a history of high blood pressure who have not had previous treatment with Aliskiren may be eligible. The research site is in Lancaster, Penn.
