Vaccines MenopauseDiabetes - Type 1

Vaccines

New York's Montefiore Medical Center is participating in a research study to test an experimental vaccine against human papillomavirus (HPV).

Volunteers between the ages 11 and 17 who are willing to refrain from all sexual activity for the entire length of the study and have not previously been vaccinated against meningitis or HPV may qualify.

The research site is in the Bronx, New York.

Menopause

ClinSite, Inc. is looking for women to participate in a research study for the treatment of menopause symptoms.

Successful applicants should be between the ages of 40 and 65 who have not had a menstrual period in at least 6 months and are experiencing at least one of the following: vaginal dryness, irritation/itching, or pain with sexual activity.

The research site is located in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Diabetes - Type 1

If you have type 1 diabetes, are currently taking insulin daily, and are between ages 18 and 80, you may qualify for a clinical research trial being conducted at Radiant Research. The company is testing inhaled insulin for type 1 diabetes.

Qualified participants receive all physical exams, labwork, and study medication at no charge and may receive compensation for time and travel.

The research site is in San Diego, Calif.
