Cancer/Chemotherapy Malignant Melanoma Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

Cancer/Chemotherapy

This study will evaluate a drug to be used together with chemotherapy, with the hope of enhancing chemotherapy's effectiveness. Patients will be injected with this drug prior to the beginning each cycle of chemotherapy. You may be eligible if you are 18 or older with confirmed Stage 3B/4 NSCLC and are being treated with paclitaxel and carboplatin.

Malignant Melanoma

The purpose of this clinical research study is to evaluate the best overall response rate (BORR) in people with previously treated melanoma-Stage III (unresectable) or Stage IV receiving 10 mg/kg of ipilimumab. Candidates 18 and older with previously treated Stage III (unresectable) or Stage IV melanoma may be eligible.

The research sites are located in the United States, Italy, and Russia.

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

This clinical research study will evaluate an investigational dose of marketed hypertension medications. Qualified participants must be ages 18-85, and will receive all study related exams and study medication at no cost. Compensation up to $350 is available for time and travel.
