If you have postherpetic neuralgia (pain after shingles), you may be eligible to participate in this research study. Study medication and related exams are provided at no cost, and participants may be compensated for time and travel.

Clostridium Difficile-Associated Diarrhea (CDAD)

This study will evaluate the safety and tolerability of an investigational medication to treat CDAD. Volunteers older than 16 who currently have diarrhea (>3 unformed stools in the last 24 hours) and who are not currently on a C. difficile-active antibiotic (vancomycin or metronidazole) for more than 24 hours may qualify.

Depression or Anxiety Disorders

This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a study medication in treating adolescent depression. The study will involve both the adolescent and a parent or guardian. All study related examinations, procedures and medication will be provided free of cost. Health insurance is not required to participate.

The research sites are located across the United States.
