Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
This research study will evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational medication in combination with an approved medication to treat high blood pressure. To qualify, participants must be at least 18 years of age and have known or suspected high blood pressure. All study-related care and study medication will be provided.

Weight Loss
This is a research study of an investigational weight-loss drug. The study will last approximately 2 years and will require about 19 clinic visits. Volunteers 18-70 who are overweight, generally healthy, do not have diabetes, and have not used weight-loss prescription drugs or over-the-counter supplements within the last three months may be eligible.
The research site is in Longmont, Calif.
