The purpose of this 12-week study is to compare the effects of an experimental medication versus an FDA-approved combination of two different therapies. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, need to be able to follow a healthy diet designed by the American Heart Association, and need to be in overall good health. Acne

This Phase II study for moderate-to-severe acne involves a systemic drug already FDA-approved for other conditions. To participate, you must be 18 or older with moderate-to-severe acne. Females cannot be pregnant nor breast-feeding. Research site located in Encino, Calif.

Osteoarthritis

If you have osteoarthritis (OA) pain of the knee, you may be eligible for a research study of an investigational drug. Study participants must be between 40-70 years of age, be in generally good health, have pain in the knee for at least the last six months, and have taken oral medication for pain within the last 90 days. Research site located in San Antonio, Texas.
