Vaccines

This study will evaluate an investigational combination vaccine for diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis. Participants must be at least 65, and have no documented history of, or vaccination for, tetanus, diphtheria, or pertussis during the past five years. Medical evaluation and investigational vaccination are provided at no cost.

The research site is in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Contraception

This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, and effectiveness of an investigational birth control pill. You may be eligible to participate if you are ages 18 to 45, of childbearing potential, and have a regular menstrual cycle.

Hot Flash

This study will evaluate an investigational low-dose hormonal medication to reduce the frequency and intensity of hot flashes and night sweats. Seven visits are required during the 14-week study. Participants must be post-menopausal women older than age 40 who have moderate-to-severe hot flashes. Additional criteria apply.
