Volunteers ages 18 to 85 who have had sinus surgery and recurring sinusitis symptoms may qualify for this clinical study.

Asthma

This study will compare the long-term effectiveness of two different FDA-approved medications to treat asthma. Candidates at least 12 years old who have been diagnosed with mild-to-moderate persistent asthma for at least six months, and do not have intermittent, seasonal, or exercise-induced asthma alone may be eligible.

The research site is in Houston, Texas.

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is a persistent lung disease. You may be eligible for this study if you are at least 40 years old, have an established clinical history of COPD, and have a history of at least 10 pack-years of smoking (example: one pack per day for 10 years, or two packs per day for five years).

The research site is in San Antonio, Texas.
