This study of an investigational pain medication seeks women and men 18 or older who have osteoarthritis of the hip or knee.

Acute Back Pain
This study is evaluating an investigational drug to reduce back pain. You may qualify if you are aged 40 to 80 and have back pain due to a fracture associated with osteoporosis.
The research site is in Venice, Fla.
Hot Flashes (Postmenopausal Women)
To qualify for this study, you must be a female aged 18 to 70 and have moderate-to-severe hot flashes.
The research site is in Decatur, Ga.
