A research study to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of an investigational drug for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Volunteers 18 or older who have been diagnosed with IBS (either constipation predominant, diarrhea predominant, or non-specific) may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.
