A research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug to relieve the symptoms of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome in men and women. Volunteers at least 18 years old who have active diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome and who are willing to make daily calls on a touch-tone telephone may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Eye Disorders/Infections

A research study to compare two doses of an investigational drug to determine the effectiveness and safety in patients with moderate to severe keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) known as "dry eye." Volunteers at least 18 years old who have been diagnosed with moderate to severe keratoconjunctivitis sicca in both eyes for a minimum of three months may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Heart Failure

A research study for adults with chronic heart failure. Volunteers at least 18 years old who have had a history of heart failure for at least two months and are currently receiving standard, non-experimental medical therapy for heart failure may be eligible. Research site located in New Hyde Park, NY.
