A multicenter, clinical study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of both an embolic agent and infusion catheter for a non-surgical treatment of symptomatic uterine fibroids. Women who are 30 years of age or older and who have been diagnosed with symptomatic uterine fibroids may be eligible to participate. Research sites located in Philadelphia and Atlanta.

Diabetes Mellitus Types I and II

A research study of an investigational medication for Type II non-insulin dependent diabetics who are taking medications for their diabetes. Volunteers who have non-insulin dependent diabetes and are over 18 years old may be eligible to participate. Research site located in Rochester, New York.

Malignant Melanoma

A study to determine if patients with metastatic melanoma (a type of spreading skin cancer) who receive the study drug after surgery live longer than patients who receive standard chemotherapy. Male and female volunteers who are at least 18 years of age and have stage IV melanoma may be able to participate. Research site located in Kansas City, Kansas.
