Multiple Sclerosis

A research study for patients with relapsing MS, not currently on therapy or who prefer not to be on interferon therapies, who have not been treated with Copaxone. Approximately 150 male and female patients (100 active and 50 placebo), aged 18 to 55, with relapsing MS and at least one but no more than 10 total Gd-enhancing lesions on cranial MRI scans during the run-in phase may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States and Canada.

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

North Shore University Hospital is recruiting people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to participate in a research study investigating an experimental drug to be used for COPD. To be eligible for this study, volunteers must be at least 40 or older and be diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Research site located in New Hyde Park, NY.

Depression (Major/Severe)

This is a major depressive disorder (MDD) research study in patients with decreased energy, pleasure and interests. To be eligible, volunteers must have a primary diagnosis of MDD with current duration lasting 12 weeks but no greater than two years and be in general good health. Research sites located throughout the United States.
