A research study of an investigational medication for the treatment of Immune Thrombocytopenic Pupura. Volunteers between 18 and 65 who have been diagnosed with ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenic Pupura) and who have not had an arterial thrombosis (ie, stroke, transient ischemic attack) in the past year may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

A research study of an investigational medication for the treatment of chronic low back pain. Volunteers 18 to 70 who suffer from chronic low back pain and take pain medication on a daily basis may be eligible. Research site located in Clearwater, Fla.

HIV

A research study to find out if providing additional testosterone to HIV infected men who have low testosterone can help them gain weight, increase their muscle mass, and feel better. HIV positive men, age 18-60, with objective evidence of HIV-infection and low to low-normal testosterone levels (< 400 ng/dL) may be eligible. Research site located in Los Angeles, Calif.
