Nerve Injury or Post-Herpetic Neuralgia Multiple Sclerosis High Cholesterol (Hyperlipidemia)

Nerve Injury or Post-Herpetic Neuralgia

A study to assess the effectiveness of 14 days of treatment with an investigational compound in patients with chronic pain due to postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) or peripheral nerve injury. Eligible volunteers may include those 18-80 years old with body weight within +/- 50% of his/her ideal body weight, diagnosed with peripheral neuropathic pain as a result of postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) of at least 3 months duration OR focal neuropathic pain related to nerve injury caused by trauma or surgery. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Multiple Sclerosis

A 13-month clinical research study of the use of IGIV (Intravenous Immunoglobulin-Chromatogrpahy) in Multiple Sclerosis. IGIV is currently used for treatment of MS, but has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Males and females 18-55 with relapsing remitting MS may be eligible to participate. Research site located in New York, New York.
