Breast Cancer

A research study of an investigational oral drug for women with metastatic breast cancer who have experienced failure of prior therapy with an antrhacycline, a taxane, and capecitabine. Volunteers at least 18 years old who have been diagnosed with primary adenocarcinoma of the breast with the presence of locally advanced or metastatic disease that is non-amenable to surgery or radiation therapy may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Lung Cancer

A research study to determine if an investigational medication when given in combination with chemotherapy (carboplatin and paclitaxel) is effective in the treatment of advanced stage non-small cell lung cancer. Volunteers at least 18 years old who have histologically or cytologically confirmed stage IIIB (including those with pleural effusion), IV, or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Stomach Discomfort

A research study of an investigational medication for the treatment of dyspepsia. Volunteers who experience symptoms of dyspepsia during or after eating, including an early sense of fullness, mid to upper abdominal pain or discomfort, bloating, nausea or vomiting may be eligible. Research site located in Laurel, MD.
