A research study to evaluate the effects of an investigational inhaled drug for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Volunteers between the ages of 18-70 who have been diagnosed with GERD and who suffer from heartburn and regurgitation at least three days per week may be eligible. Research site located in Concord, Calif.

A research study of two investigational medications to see if they slow the progression of Parkinson's disease. Volunteers age 30 and older who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease for less than five years may be eligible. Research site located in Durham, NC.

Autism

A research study to track the growth of cognitive, interpersonal, social communication, and language skills in children with autism. Children ages 6 and under who have previously received a diagnosis of autism and use no or very few spoken words may be eligible. About half of the children and their mothers will also be invited to participate in 12 sessions of an experimental parent training course. Research site located in Los Angeles, Calif.
