A genetics study of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Volunteers who have had six or fewer periods per year or a previous diagnosis of PCOS, are 18-45 years of age, and are not taking oral contraceptives may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

AIDS and AIDS related infections

A research study of an oral investigational medication for the treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with combination antiretroviral therapy. Volunteers 18-70 years old who have documented HIV infection/AIDS and whose adherence to current HAART protocol was or is being compromised, or HAART was discontinued/interrupted due to nausea & vomiting, or patients beginning HAART or switching regimens may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Alzheimer's Disease

A research study to see how Alzheimer's disease affects the patient's mood, different aspects of their life and how the mood of caregivers affects the patients. Volunteers who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and have a reliable caregiver who can come to the study visits and is able to answer questions about the patient's mood and behavior may be eligible. Research site located in Los Angeles, Calif.
