Lung Cancer

A research study to assess the activity of subcutaneous (SC) amifostine on the incidence and severity of acute radiochemotherapy-induced esophagitis. This study is for patients with unresectable Stage IIIA or IIIB non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who are receiving combined modality therapy. Volunteers age 18 and older may be eligible to participate. Research sites located throughout the United States.
