COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

The Clinical Research Center is enrolling subjects for a research study of an investigational combination inhaler for COPD. The study consists of approximately 6-7 visits over approximately seven months. Eligible participants will be over 40 years of age and a current or former smoker. Participants will receive study-related medication, pulmonary functions tests, EKG's, laboratory tests, and study-related health exams at no cost. Research site located in St. Louis, Mo.

Aneurysm

A study to determine the safety and effectiveness of a minimally invasive treatment for thoracic aortic aneurysms. Strong Memorial Hospital/University of Rochester Medical Center is conducting a clinical trial to study the safety and effectiveness of the Zenith TX2 TAA Endovascular Graft. Must be diagnosed with an aneurysm of the descending thoracic aorta, at least 18 years old, a candidate for either surgery or endovascular repair and meet specific requirements regarding the type and size of aortic aneurysm in the descending aorta, as determined by the study investigator. Research sites located throughout the United States.
