A study to evaluate an investigational medication in preventing bone loss in postmenopausal women who are receiving letrozole therapy for the treatment of breast cancer. Postmenopausal female volunteers with breast cancer who have not had prior treatment with letrozole (Femara) and who do not have metastasis to other parts of the body may be eligible. Research site located in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Diabetes - Type 2

A research study to determine the effectiveness of two marketed medications in reducing protein in the urine in patients with Type 2 diabetes. Volunteers who have Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and elevated protein in the urine may be eligible. Research site located in Rochester, New York.
