A study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for asthma. Volunteers 2-8 years old with mild persistent asthma or a history of three or more episodes of wheezing in the previous year that lasted more than one day and affected sleep may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

A study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an investigational medication in treating adult patients with early stage sepsis. Volunteers at least 18 years old diagnosed with severe sepsis within the past 48 hours who have a suspected or proven infection may be eligible. Research site located in Sacramento, California.
