A phase II, 43-patient trial, to evaluate the efficacy of an investigational medication, in combination with capecitabine, in treating advanced/metastatic renal cell carcinoma. Volunteers age 18 and older, with a histologically or cytologically confirmed diagnosis of advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma, may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.
