Spinal Cord Disorders

A research study of a device designed to allow quadriplegics who are unable to use their hands to communicate with a computer using thoughts. Volunteers who are unable to use their hands due to spinal cord injury, stoke or muscular dystrophy and are in general good health may be eligible. Research site located in Warwick, RI.

Diabetic Neuropathy

A research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug in reducing pain and improving quality of life in adults with distal diabetic neuropathy. Volunteers 18 and older who have either type 1 or type 2 diabetes and have symptoms of painful distal diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) may be eligible. Research sites located in Tulsa, Okla. and Jonesboro, Ark.
