Migraine and Cluster Headaches

A clinical research study is underway for adolescents who suffer from migraine headaches.

The goal of this study is to determine the long-term safety of the investigational medication for migraine prevention in this age group.

To be considered for the study, subjects must be 12-17 years old and weigh at least 77 pounds, currently experiencing migraine headaches and willing to record headache information into a diary.

The research site is in Loxahatchee, Fla.

Anxiety Disorders

Bay Area Research Institute is enrolling adults 18 years and older in a clinical research study to evaluate an investigational medication for Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

Qualified participants will receive study-related care with psychiatric assessment, labs, and EKGs, study medication and compensation for time and travel.

The research site is in Lafayette, Calif.

Smoking Cessation

Are you ready to kick the habit?

This study is 8 months long with 12 office visits, comparing an investigational tobacco-based product alone or in combination with a nicotine replacement therapy as a smoking cessation aid.

To qualify, you must be between 21 and 65 years old, motivated to quit smoking, in good general health, smoking at least 15 cigarettes per day for the last year (non-menthol) and willing to use appropriate birth control measures.

The research site is in Nashville, Tenn.
