Diabetic Gastroparesis

A research study to evaluate the effect of different doses of an investigational drug on symptoms of dyspepsia in patients with diabetic gastropathy. Volunteers 18 - 65 who have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes that has required insulin for at least three years and who have persistent or recurrent symptoms consistent with diabetic gastropathy -- including mid- to upper- abdominal pain and discomfort for at least two months may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Muscle Pain

A research study of a new medication for the treatment of myofascial trigger points ("muscle knots"). Myofascial trigger points are localized spots of tenderness in muscles that have been injured by traumatic (e.g. whiplash) or repetitive (eg. extensive keyboarding) strain. Volunteers between 18-65 who have myofascial trigger points may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

Pregnancy

A research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an experimental treatment to reduce the risk of another preterm birth. Women 18-45 years of age who have had a previous preterm birth may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.
