Sickle Cell Disease

A study to assess the safety and tolerability of an investigational drug in sickle cell patients with iron overload due to chronic transfusion. Volunteers age 18 or older who have been diagnosed with sickle cell disease and have received blood transfusions that resulted in transfusional iron overload may be eligible. Research site located in Columbus, Ohio.
