Brain Cancer

A research study of an investigational medication for patients with brain tumors and tumor-associated swelling. Volunteers who have a primary or metastatic malignant brain tumor, are experiencing steroid-associated side effect(s) and have been taking dexamethasone for at least 30 days to control symptoms of edema may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States and Canada.

Bipolar Disorders

A research study evaluating an approved medication for the maintenance of bipolar I disorder. Volunteers who are taking Lithium, Depakote or Seroquel for bipolar I disorder and who have a history of severe mood disturbances may be eligible. Research site located in Santa Ana, Calif.
