A research study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an investigational medication for the treatment of mild to moderately active ulcerative colitis. Volunteers at least 18 years old who have a documented diagnosis of ulcerative colitis, which is mild to moderate indicated by a Disease Activity Index score of greater than or equal to 4 and less than or equal to 10 may be eligible. Research site located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Healthy Patient Studies

A clinical trial to compare the effectiveness of two medications in preventing breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Volunteers at least 35 years old (must be postmenopausal) whose last mammography (no longer than 1 year ago) showed no evidence of cancer may be eligible. Research site located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Diabetes - Type 2

A clinical research study of an investigational medication for Type 2I Diabetes. Volunteers between 18 and 70 who are taking oral medication for Type 2 diabetes, have blood sugars that are not well controlled and who are not on insulin may be eligible. Research site located in Ocala, Florida.
