Diabetes - Type 2 Parkinson's Disease or Healthy Patient Studies Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

Diabetes - Type 2

This is a 12-week outpatient study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug to treat type 2 diabetes. Volunteers 18-70 who are drug naive or newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes may be eligible. Additional criteria apply. People with a history of diabetic ketoacidosis or hyperosomolar, nonketotic coma within one year of screening will not be eligible for the study.

Parkinson's Disease or Healthy Patient Studies

This is a study of mood, cognitive function, and neural response in people with and without Parkinson's disease. You may qualify for this study if you are a right-handed person and between the ages of 40 and 80. Volunteers will be compensated for participation.

Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

This clinical research study will evaluate the effects of an investigational drug on cholesterol levels in people with high blood pressure. Candidates 18-80 who are diagnosed with high blood pressure may be included.
