Chronic Pain Diabetes - Type 2 Depression

Chronic Pain

This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Kadian NT when taken for chronic pain over a period of up to one year. Volunteers 18-70 with a history of chronic moderate-to-severe pain for at least three months may qualify.

Diabetes - Type 2

This study will evaluate an experimental tablet (NN4440), containing two commonly used diabetes drugs (metformin and repaglinide), and how it controls glucose levels when given twice daily versus three times daily. Candidates at least 18 who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least three months and are currently on one or two diabetes drugs may be eligible. Other criteria apply.

If you're a woman 18-65 who has symptoms of depression -- such as feeling sad, having trouble sleeping, or not enjoying life the way you once did -- you may be eligible for this study of an investigational medication.
