If you are aged 18 to 85 and living with both kidney impairment and diabetes, you may be eligible to participate in this research study. Participants will receive study related physical exams, laboratory tests, and compensation for time and travel.

Osteoarthritis

You may qualify for this study if you are 45 or older and have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the knee for more than six months. You will not be eligible if you have rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus, active gout, or an intra-articular fracture of the knee.

The research site is in Peoria, Ariz.

Type 2 Diabetes

If you are a type 2 diabetic, you are invited to participate in this study of an investigational diabetes medication. Participants must be non-smoking for at least six months, and cannot be diagnosed with pneumonia within the prior three months.
