MS Web Site Launched

Offers more information about crippling disease

THURSDAY, June 27, 2002 (HealthDayNews) -- There's a new Web site and toll-free telephone line dedicated to The Montel Williams MS Foundation.

The site and toll-free line serve as additional resources for people seeking information about multiple sclerosis (MS), and offers information about the foundation's activities.

You can check out the Web site by clicking here. It features information about how to order a free "MS Take Action Kit". It includes a video about MS, information about the disease and the personal story of the Emmy-award winning talk show host, who was diagnosed with MS in 1999.

The kit can also be ordered from the toll-free number -- 1-877-MontelMS.

Williams established the foundation to further scientific study of MS and provide information to people with MS and anyone else interested in learning more about the disease. The foundation provides funding to organizations and institutions doing MS research.
