Delay in Antibiotics Not Linked to Worse Survival in Neutropenic Fever

For patients with hematologic malignancies with inpatient neutropenic fever, delays in time to antibiotics do not affect overall survival (OS) at 180 days. In 187 cases, time to antibiotics did not significantly affect OS, but those with Charleston Comorbidity Indexes ≥3 had a higher hazard ratio.
