Lawnmower could keep Fido free of Lyme disease

Owning a dog can be rewarding -- but it also involves work. There are trips to the vet to keep Fido healthy, and those daily walks.

Now, you can add a new chore to the list: mowing the lawn. The Dog Owners Educational League says keeping your lawn trimmed reduces the chances of your pet contracting Lyme disease.

Maybe a sheep is the answer. That way, you have a pet that takes care of the problem on its own-- and leaves you with one less chore to do.
