(HealthDay News) -- Lead is a natural element that is dangerous for young children and pregnant women.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says lead exposure among children can lead to:

  • Problems with learning and behavior.
  • Problems with hyperactivity and a low IQ.
  • Delayed growth.
  • Problems with hearing.
  • Anemia.
