Health Tip: Make Time for Exercise

It's not as hard as you'd think

(HealthDayNews) -- Americans are bombarded with messages about the health benefits of exercise -- about how good it is for the heart, lungs and general longevity.

Yet according to the U.S. Surgeon General's recent Report on Physical Activity and Health, 60 percent of Americans still aren't exercising enough.

Not having enough time is right up there with the top 10 list of excuses.

But consider this: 30 minutes -- the length of a TV sitcom, pizza delivery or typical laundry wash -- is all you need as little as four or five times a week, the American Heart Association says.

So, no more excuses. Get up and get moving!
