I Run, Therefore I Drink

Runners shouldn't skimp on water

Woody Allen once observed in answer to the question, 'Why does man kill?' that, "He kills for food. And not only food, frequently there must be a beverage."

If you like to run, you should take heed of the last part: Be sure to keep yourself hydrated. That means at least 16 ounces of water an hour; more if you perspire a lot. It's important because lack of water can lead to heat stroke and other problems.

So on your mark... get set... start sipping.
