Improper shoes could court injury
If you play tennis, you're probably familiar with tennis elbow. But have you ever heard of tennis toe?
The American Podiatric Medical Association says tennis, technically a subungal hematoma, occurs when blood accumulates under a nail. The injury usually can be traced to improper shoes, and the blood should be drained by a podiatrist for a quicker recovery.
