Walking Helps Type 2 Diabetics
Brisk walks may extend life
(HealthDayNews) -- If you have Type 2 diabetes, walking may extend your life and reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD), according to Johns Hopkins Hospital.
A recent study found that the risk of death among men who walked briskly (3-4 mph) for about 4 hours each week declined by 43 percent. Their CVD rates dropped by 36 percent.
