Following First-Time Ischemic Stroke, Disparities in Outcomes Visible at Three Months

Stoke outcomes are at their worst at three months poststroke, with ethnic disparities already present. Among 807 Mexican American (MA) persons and 525 non-Hispanic White persons with first-ever ischemic stroke, MA patients had significantly worse outcomes at all time points through 12 months.
