'Seeing Stars' Is Not a Cartoon Trick
If your head gets injured, medical help is a must
(HealthDayNews) -- If you see stars after bumping your head, get immediate medical help because you could have a serious injury, according to St. John Ambulance, the emergency medical response organization for Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada.
Other signs a blow to the head needs medical attention include:
- A headache that doesn't ease up.
- Nausea and vomiting.
- Blurred vision.
- Memory loss. Change in breathing, pulse and body temperature.
