Health care use is high following even a mild COVID-19 diagnosis. Among 64,011 patients with confirmed COVID-19, the average number of visits was highest in the first 30 days (hospitalized for COVID-19: 12.3 visits/30 person-days; nonhospitalized: 6.6), mostly for COVID-19-related symptoms.
