Loud noise could damage your hearing

(HealthDayNews) -- Loud rock concerts may get your groove going, but over time they can also lead to hearing impairment, according to the Johns Hopkins University Health After 50 medical letter.

In fact, you should avoid all noises that prompt ear pain or make it difficult to hear someone standing less than 2 feet away.

Avoid exposure to noise at 85 decibels or above. This applies to things like excessively loud music, and the noise generated by motorcycles, power boats and lawnmowers.
