Horsemanship Skills Program May Benefit Veterans With PTSD

Veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) may benefit from an equine-assisted services program. Among 18 veterans, 52% completed the full intervention (two sessions of instruction in horsemanship and two sessions of trail rides), with improvements seen in PTSD symptoms and mental health.
