Immunosuppressive AIH Treatment Affects COVID-19 Severity

Treatment with immunosuppressive drugs is tied to COVID-19 severity in people with autoimmune hepatitis (AIH). Among 254 patients, use of systemic glucocorticoids and thiopurines for AIH was tied to worse COVID-19 severity, regardless of age, sex, comorbidities, or presence of cirrhosis.
