Health Tip: Don't Squeeze a Boil

It could spread the infection

(HealthDayNews) -- A boil is a bacterial skin infection, usually of a hair follicle, the American Academy of Dermatology says.

The experts say you should never squeeze a boil, as this could well spread the infection.

A warm compress can relieve any pain, and you should consult a dermatologist if the boil does not drain itself.
